Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation with the help of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested former GBI agent Charles Woodall on November 9 on charges of child molestation and related charges.
Woodall, 34, had been under investigation by the GBI dating back to September of this year, according to the Bibb County District Attorney’s Office.
Agents apprehended Woodall at his parent’s home in Knoxville without incident. He will be returned to Georgia to face nine counts of child molestation, six counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes, one count of electronically furnishing obscene material to minors, and one count of violation of oath of office.
Woodall served with the GBI from December, 2011 until his resignation on October 7, 2015.
