It’s nearly February, and the Atlanta Hawks still have a single-digit number in the loss column for the season.
With Sunday night’s 112-100 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Atlanta raises the franchise record for a win streak to 16 straight.
Paul Milsap led Atlanta with 20 points, six assists, and five rebounds; Milsap was followed by Al Horford who had a solid 19 points, and six rebounds of his own.
The Hawks had six players in double-digits, and every single player that saw time had points.
Minnesota had two players with 20 plus points. Thaddeus Young had a game-high 26, while Mo Williams had 20 of his own.
With the win Sunday, the Hawks move to 37-8 on the year. The Timberwolves drop to 7-36.
Atlanta returns to action Wednesday night at home as they host the Brooklyn Nets at 8pm.
