The Braves pitching staff held the Drive to only two runs Saturday night, led by a solid start from Ricardo Sanchez in a 3-2 Rome victory.
Sanchez went five innings, striking out nine batters. He gave up two runs on four hits – including a homer – and only walked two batters.
Rome’s offense struggled at times with runners on, but managed three runs on seven hits, led by Ray-Patrick Didder‘s 2-for-4 night. Didder hit is fourth home run on the year, a solo shot in the first.
